Case Study: Business Visas
A Multinational European company needed to bring workers into the United States from Europe for temporary and permanent work. We advised this company of its structure with the American subsidiary, so that many of their employees would qualify for treaty visa status. This status requires that the visa holder and the parent company share the same nationality.
We worked with our client's in-house and commercial attorneys to coordinate their business plan to satisfy the demands of the visa issuing process. When it became evident that the company would need some of its employees on a permanent basis, we assisted them with permanent resident process.
We continue to assist the company with qualifying other workers, and their families, for specialty worker or intra-company transferee status, so that others would be able to come to the United States in specialized knowledge, professional, managerial and executive capacities.
